Job Description
Title: Civil Process Specialist
Location: San Francisco CA
Duration: 4+ Month Contract with the possibility of extension
- 100% Remote - West coast preferred but we have people across USA, so we are flexible with the shift time.
- We are responsible for processing different credit notices.
- We are responsible for collecting unpaid loans, 1099 filing and taxes filing (it’s nice to have)
- Our customers are creditors.
- Experience in processing civil notices, lien, levy or garnishment and tradition banking
- Any sort of experience in processing civil notices, reading general legal notices, filing process garnishment, legal notices, lien, levy, subpoenas or similar, investigation experience, compliance or risk experience, experience in civil operations.
- We use Jira and some other internal tools for tracking.
- Interview: 2 rounds
- 1-3 years of experience in civil notice processing or in other required skill will be ideal.
- Type of candidate we want: - Working with creditor and processing civil notices will be the first choice second will be someone with tax filing, lien, levy or garnishment experience.
- Top skills: Processing civil notices, any sort of reviewing legal notices and identifying account based on that information, experience in Taxes (preferred)
- Day to day –70% will be involved in processing civil notices, digging into EIN, SSN, name, putting information into system, processing 30-70 notices per day, answering customer emails, internal communication (responding to block teammates)
