Network Technician I
Location: West Mifflin, PA 15203 [ Onsite]

Job Description

It’ s an entry-level networking role.
12 12-month contract initially with a potential of getting converted to full-time perm going forward.
Typical standard business hours with flexibility but some expectations to work on evenings and weekends on occasion when needed.
Travel is required to different plants based at Western PA and Pittsburgh, PA and it will be reimbursed.
Must have personal vehicle to drive to different plants sites weekly a minimum.
CCNA certification would be ideal for this job.
Really focused on finding someone who can support Cisco, wire, and wireless network technology in an enterprise kind of an environment.
Someone who is looking who is willing to work in a Steel Industry environment.
Focus is more on the network side like Cisco, Catalyst and Nexus switches, layer 2 switching, later 3 routing, Cisco wireless, AP configuration and deployment, Wireless surveys would be a plus.
The primary focus will be on Cisco switching and wireless experience.
Must have own laptop, PPE, hard hat, boots for this job (expenses will be reimbursed).
Essentially to join the team as a member of the existing network support group.
Generally, a High School Diploma is sufficient with demonstrated experience with technology.
Someone who can work independently is critical for this job.
On-call expected one week a month.
