Position: MES Engineer
Location: Bothell, WA 98021 (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Possible extension)
Top Skills Required:
A successful candidate will have knowledge and experience with MES technologies.
Syncade would be preferable. Similarly: PasX.
MS Windows Server and SQL experience required.
Knowledge in crystal reports or bartender
Experience in C# and VB Script.
Position Summary:
IT Manufacturing Execution System Label Contractor will be responsible for ensuring of all MES Commercial, Clinical labels using the crystal report and Bartender application to support multiple sites and global initiatives at Client, Bothell.
This individual will be experienced working with Manufacturing Execution System preferably Syncade and perform application support duties for manufacturing execution system (MES) and will provide production support for label printing activities by collaborating with the Document Control team.
Responsibilities:
The MES label contractor will be responsible for developing labels using the Bartender application to support multiple site and global initiatives.
This will include creating labels in multiple languages in accordance with the approved configuration specification.
This resource will own the end-to-end label management lifecycle which includes but not limited to testing, validation and deployment of the label templates configured.
Deliver updates to system lifecycle documents such as User Requirements Specifications, Function Specification, Design Specifications, and test cases.
Participate in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) validation activities including the development and execution of IQ/OQ/PQ testing.
Create ServiceNow change records and execute the change tasks.
This role will peer review the labels, draft the Design Specifications (DS) and route for approvals.
Perform application support duties for manufacturing execution system (MES)
Assure quality customer service to all customers.
In addition to label development, a successful candidate will provide production support for label printing activities by collaborating with the Document Control team.
This position is based out of Bothell, Jump, and will require the resource to be on-site during business hours of operation.
This position does not qualify for remote work.
A successful candidate will possess working knowledge of Zebra printers (ZD500, ZT420, ZT410).
Responsibilities will include configuring printers in the MES application server and troubleshooting issues related to printing labels.
Qualifications:
4+ years’work experience in a sciences-based field with bachelor’s degree with the below:
Experience configuring labels using crystal report application.
Working knowledge of Zebra printers (ZD410, ZT410 and ZT420)
Strong troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to collaborate and work well with people.
Strong communications skills.
Basic knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems. Knowledge of Syncade is a plus.
