Assembly Engineer
Princeton, IN (Onsite)
12+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Reporting to the Assembly Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Engineering Assembly department's objective to support Assembly Process and Equipment Development for new model launch, refurbishment and Kaizen.

Reporting to the Assembly Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Engineering Assembly department's objective to support Assembly Process and Equipment Development for new model launch, refurbishment and Kaizen.
Job Responsibilities:
- (10%) Project Planning for upcoming model changes
- (20%) Simultaneous Engineering for assembly of vehicle with TMC & TTC
- (70%) Project Management over process setup & equipment procurement
- Vehicle structure study
- Equipment design
- Equipment installation
- Process design
- Supporting new vehicle trials
- Close collaboration between both internal and external groups across Toyota including NAMCs, TMC, TTC, PE support shops, & Plano divisions
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Tech, or equivalent experience in an Assembly Engineering position (yes/no- 4 years)
- Experience in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Preparation (min 2 years-text above 4 years or more 1asset)
- Experience with Equipment Sourcing and Installation (min 2 years-text above 4 years or more 1asset)
- Experience with 3D modeling and prototype part printing (min 1 year –text above 4 years or more 1asset)
- Ability to work up to 20% overtime when required
- Ability to travel up to 20% to all NAM’s as well as Japan only as required.
