Assoc Engineering Technician

Job Description


  • Support engineering teams by producing accurate and compliant technical deliverables

  • Develop plan & profile drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D

  • Apply intermediate knowledge of civil engineering principles and drafting practices

  • Use CAD/BIM and digital design tools to create, update, and maintain drawings

  • Perform basic computations including material quantities and dimensional checks

  • Coordinate with cross-functional project teams to minimize design errors and interferences

  • Follow Black & Veatch quality standards, document control practices, and internal procedures

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Begin providing technical guidance to junior technicians

  • Stay current with evolving tools, technologies, and industry processes
