Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to consult with internal teams and external vendors to capture business objectives and processes. This role involves conducting research, gathering requirements, and ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs. The Business Analyst will work closely with design and technical teams to create system requirements and drive the successful implementation of business applications.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to consult with internal teams and external vendors to capture business objectives and processes. This role involves conducting research, gathering requirements, and ensuring that technical solutions align with business needs. The Business Analyst will work closely with design and technical teams to create system requirements and drive the successful implementation of business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the creation of Business Requirements using traditional or Business Process and Analysis (BPA) methodologies.
- Manage the Scoring and Claiming processes, ensuring business requirements and use cases are clear, concise, and traceable.
- Identify stakeholders, risks, and benefits of alternative designs, document assumptions, and assess the impact of system changes.
- Develop System Requirements (SRQs), including process flows and use cases.
- Conduct SRQ reviews with stakeholders to ensure completeness and alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain and update the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure all business requirements are accurately captured.
- Review architecture, engineering, and application development designs, and validate QA/UAT test plans.
- Provide support for software testing and debugging to ensure requirements are met.
- Monitor and report on project progress, issues, dependencies, and risks.
- Participate in vendor demonstrations, evaluations, and selection processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a related field;5-8 years of relevant experience OR
- Master’s degree (MS/MA) in a related field with 3-5 years of experience.
- Certifications may be required based on project needs.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, system requirements documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with business applications, process flows, and requirement traceability.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex business and technical problems.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing business decisions.
