Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and reach out to high-potential onchain-native startups, fintechs, and web2 companies entering crypto.
- Drive awareness of Coinbase’s Onramp API and its value as an embedded, developer-friendly onramp solution.
- Engage directly with product teams and developers to scope integration needs and qualify technical fit.
- Source leads through both traditional channels and web3-native approaches –developer forums, GitHub, hackathons, and ecosystem events.
- Track all activity in CRM systems with clear reporting and pipeline discipline.
- Operate with a go-to-market mindset, rapidly iterating on messaging, outreach strategies, and lead targeting.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Trust/Risk, and Marketing/Comms to ensure a high-quality experience from first touch to integration.
- Share insights from the field to help shape product roadmap, onboarding flows, and market strategy.
Required Skills:
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships –ideally in API-first, fintech, SaaS, or developer platform companies.
- Strong understanding of the crypto ecosystem, with a focus on onchain applications, developer tooling, and stablecoins.
- Experience engaging with technical audiences and navigating developer communities.
- Clear, confident communication skills across written and verbal channels.
- Highly organized and data-driven –comfortable using CRM tools to track outreach, manage follow-ups, and report progress.
- Self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and execution in zero-to-one environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience working with or selling into crypto-native teams.
- Familiarity with KYC/KYB onboarding, payment APIs, or embedded finance.
- Exposure to tools like GitHub, Postman, or blockchain dev environments.
