Job Description

Position- Celeros Technical Repair Coordinator
Location- Baton Rouge, LA
Duration- 06 Months contract possible extension
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for technical and commercial communication with customers.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and customer specifications throughout the repair process.
  • Collaborate with shop personnel and engineering to define repair strategies and production needs.
  • Prepare detailed work instructions and documentation packages including work orders, prints, and inspection forms.
  • Generate cost estimates and repair quotations by calculating material, labor, and third-party costs.
  • Interface with vendors for pricing, lead times, and technical support.
  • Track and coordinate procurement of order-specific materials and services.
  • Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), update internal tracking tools, and support shop floor planning sessions.
  • Compile and deliver complete As-Built Documentation Packages upon job completion.
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipping tasks related to customer repairs.
  • Oversee inventory related to repair orders and support data reconciliation/reporting efforts.
 
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a service center, production control, or manufacturing environment—preferably related to rotating equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of shop and manufacturing processes related to pump repairs or similar mechanical systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and PDF editing tools.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (preferred).
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
