Job Description

Role: Contract Hardware Engineer Mid.
Duration: 10+ Months 
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Day-1 Onsite).

Note: Team is seeking FPGA engineer with experince in PCIe and Experience with board level testing (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
Job Description:
BS Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE) or Computer Science (CS) or equivalent experience
8+ years of end-to-end FPGA design experience (RTL, Simulation, Implementation, Hands on bring-up and debug)
Experience with commercial HDL simulators (Modelsim/Questa)
Experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog
Experience with digital circuit design and various communications protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, I2S, USB, MIPI, PCIe, etc.
Experience with board level testing (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
Collaboration and communication skills
Demonstrated domain knowledge in compute & systems development, proven track record in building advanced technology & product development
Good to Have:
Experience with verification environments/methodologies
Experience with streaming video protocols (MIPI, AXI-Stream, etc.)
Experience with scripting in TCL and Python
Master’s degree in EE, CE or CS or equivalent experience
Experience leading a multidisciplinary product engineering team, with oversight into mechanical, electrical, and firmware workstreams and integration between disciplines
Understanding of Meta products and technologies
Experience with embedded devices
Experience with cameras and optical systems

Ability to execute multiple streams of work simultaneously and independently balance and prioritize project workload to ensure success against timeline constraints
RTL development and testing for FPGA targets/platforms to support rapid prototyping
Assist with algorithm analysis, verification and improvement
Direct contingent/contract design and test resources
Develop component and system level performance specifications
How will performance be measured: You must be able to work with minimal guidance, demonstrate a high attention to detail, be partnership-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills. You must be a self-starter, well-organized and have excellent communication skills. Our team is constantly growing and you will be relied upon to help define team direction and be motivated to improve the effectiveness of our tools and processes from each project to the next.
