Digital Communications Systems Technician
Location: Los Angeles CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months contract with possible extension

- Technician will perform troubleshooting and make necessary programming changes for NEC & Nortel PBX, Meridian Key systems, MS-teams, Cisco call manager, Cisco gateways, Zoom and Cisco Webex and their peripheral equipment.
- Technician will troubleshoot Centrex lines and work with various vendors (Telecommunication, Frontier, etc.) to restore service.
- Technicians can be called upon to troubleshoot and replace damaged cable and jacks.
- Preferred four years of experience in troubleshooting Cisco VoIP, NEC, Nortel PBX, and/or Norstar EKTS equipment. Repair, install, configure, test, and maintain, digital and Internet-based communications systems and equipment, including servers supporting applications such as voicemail, call recording, automated telephone attendants, and interactive voice response. Knowledge of basic Telephony. Knowledge of cabling standards and color codes needed.
- 5 years’ experience and/or College or Technical Trade School certification will be a plus.
