Title: Domain Architect (Treasury & Payments)
Location: Plano, TX (On-site 4 days/week)
Duration: 6 Months (extension likely)
Location: In-Office Requirement: Must be local to Plano, TX.
Work Schedule: Hybrid;Minimum of 4 days per week on-site at the Plano headquarters.
Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Interview Process:
  1. 1st Round: 45-minute MS Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and team.
  2. 2nd Round: 1-2 hour In-Person technical interview in Plano. Focus includes in-depth system design, architecture experience, and cultural fit.
Position Overview:
Seeking a high-caliber Domain Architect to serve as a pivotal technical leader within our Treasury and Payments domain. This is an individual contributor position that requires a heavy technical lift, with 60-70% of the role focused on Hands-On Solution Design and Implementation, and the remainder dedicated to leadership and governance.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Technology Strategy: Collaborate with Domain leadership to influence technology direction and maintain the Business Capability Map.
  • System Design: Be hands-on in driving system design discussions, ensuring resilient, performant, and scalable solutions for large-scale business operations.
  • Governance: Lead the creation of Technology Strategy, current/target state architectures, and participate in cross-domain architecture routines.
  • Implementation: Oversee code reviews and ensure the delivery of cloud-native solutions addressing logging, security, and instrumentation.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical leadership to a team of architects and development teams, ensuring best practices in distributed application design.
Requirements
  • Total Experience: 15+ years of progressive work experience in IT.
  • Architecture Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in Enterprise Architecture practices and governance.
  • Technical Depth: Deep expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD), 12-factor application frameworks, API/Microservices, and Event-Driven Architectures.
  • Domain Expertise: Experience architecting solutions for Treasury and Payments (budget management, stakeholder conversations, and financial strategy).
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required.
  • Background: Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening;Export Control form required upon onboarding.
Technical Profile
  • Languages: Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python.
  • Cloud Platforms: Deep knowledge of AWS and/or Azure.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to present technical and managerial information clearly to stakeholders ranging from Developers to Business Executives.
