Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Duration: 18+ months

Requirements:

BSEE, BSEET, or equivalent experience as a lab technician.
2+ years’experience testing new products in a professional lab environment.
Experience with bring-up of new PCA designs and unit test.
Experience working with embedded electronics and control systems and CAN bus are preferred.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and component datasheets.
Participate in prototype builds and collaborating with other engineering functions.
Ability to troubleshoot system-level and board-level defects on PCAs and Cables.
Perform signal integrity measurements.
Experience using DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment.
Proficient hand soldering skill and SMT rework.
Experience designing and debugging test fixtures.
Familiarity hand tools and small powered shop tools for building test fixtures.
Ability to work with low voltage DC (0-40V) as well as AC Mains (120-240AC).
Maintains clean and safe lab environment on daily basis.
Willing to always wear appropriate PPE in the lab.
Preferred Qualifications:
IPC 610 and 620 Certification
