Job Description

Job Title: Compliance Officer
Location: Orlando, FL
Contract Duration: 4+ Months
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct direct communication with constituents/complainants to gather complaint details.
  • Review and interpret Florida statutes to analyze complaints for jurisdiction and validity.
  • Provide professional-level customer service, clearly advising complainants on outcomes and next steps.
  • Close cases by documenting appropriate statutory references, case activities, and closure reasons using Versa and OnBase systems.
  • Draft formal written correspondence for complainants, pending supervisory approval.
  • Offer guidance, referrals, or resources when applicable.
 
Required Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret Florida statutes accurately.
  • Prior experience in public-facing roles within a professional setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to meeting project deadlines and maintaining case documentation standards.
