Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician Location: Foothill Ranch,CA Duration: 6+ Months Contract with good chances of extension
Job Requirements:
Performs basic electrical work, preventative maintenance of HVAC, basic plumbing, office furniture repairs/cleaning, basic carpentry work and conducts routine inspection of such items.
Assists with reconfigurations and relocates furniture and office equipment as well as set up and take down of furniture/audio visual equipment for meetings and special events in house or at remote locations as required by event planning.
Performs special projects such as office modifications, furniture tear-down/reconstruction, door repairs, light bulb replacements, mounting bulletin boards, white boards, TV’s, pictures etc.
Assists with coordinating vendor activity for miscellaneous repairs. Contacts current vendors/contractors to solicit cost estimates for minor repairs, etc. May review invoices or service ticket for accuracy and submit to leader for processing and payment.
Responds to emergency calls, evaluating damages and takes necessary steps to protect customers, employees and property.
May perform some minor landscape repairs or adjustments and property clean-up services (minor trash, cigarette butt cleans up, remove small broken branches, etc…).
May perform basic janitorial duties throughout the facilities.
May occasionally be responsible for shipping, receiving, and mail delivery.
May participate in meetings and assist with special event support and planning with respect to facility-related matters.
Requires working knowledge of MS Office Applications, i.E. Word and Excel
Excellent organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, math, written, verbal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization
Reliable transportation, will be required to drive their own vehicle.
