Enbridge is currently seeking a motivated and safety-focused Field Operator I to join our operations team in Evangeline, Louisiana. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining critical process control systems across natural gas processing facilities, pumping stations, and related pipeline infrastructure.

Job Description:
Enbridge is currently seeking a motivated and safety-focused Field Operator I to join our operations team in Evangeline, Louisiana. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining critical process control systems across natural gas processing facilities, pumping stations, and related pipeline infrastructure.
This position offers a unique opportunity to develop technical expertise while supporting operational reliability and safety standards in a hands-on, field-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor process systems and equipment in plant, onshore, offshore, and terminal facilities.
- Perform standard field operations duties with increasing complexity and independence.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Assist in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and control systems.
- Support preventative maintenance programs by keeping accurate and timely records.
- Collaborate with coordinators and supervisors on tasks requiring guidance or specialized input.
- Provide basic guidance to less experienced team members or contractors as needed.
- Participate in design reviews and learn the operation of complex equipment and systems.
- Evaluate job sites for safety prior to beginning work and follow all protocols for safe execution.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 0–3 years of relevant field or plant operations experience.
- Completion of all core technical training requirements.
- Must have completed all applicable Operator Qualification (OQ) requirements in the U.S.
- For apprentices: This corresponds to apprentice levels 2 through 4.
- Strong understanding of basic operational procedures and safety regulations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision on routine tasks.
Additional Information:
- This is a contract position with a projected duration from September 15, 2025, to January 11, 2026.
- All work will be conducted onsite in Evangeline, LA—no remote work available.
