The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, software proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic operations-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex hydraulic modeling and analysis of natural gas pipelines and compressor systems.
- Utilize industry-standard software such as FlowDesk, NextGen, WinFlow, or Synergi Gas for simulations and evaluations.
- Support ongoing operations by identifying system performance issues and offering "what-if"scenario analysis to optimize functionality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and planning teams to resolve issues and drive efficiency.
- Take ownership of problems, prioritize effectively, and follow through to resolution with minimal oversight.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout project lifecycles and operational tasks.
- Participate in regular team meetings and video interviews via MS Teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering.
- 7–10 years of hydraulic engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on natural gas systems.
- Proven experience working in mainline compression and natural gas pipeline operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
