- Ability to identify and avoid extraneous activities that do not solve the problem or help reach the objective.
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple priorities and transition quickly between projects/issues. Knowledge of or familiarity with project management and agile software development life cycle methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team by delivering to deadlines and communicating effectively.
- Ability to self-prioritize work and work with minimal to moderate supervision in the performance of daily activities.
- Ability to work and communicate clearly and effectively with both team members and customers. Ability to develop business cases and facilitate prioritization of change requests and enhancements.
- Ability to conduct analysis of alternatives, recommendations, and issue resolutions.
- Ability to define quality metrics for applications. Ability to develop and deliver presentations to small groups.
- Ability to plan, organize and conduct User Acceptance Testing.
- Skill in Intermediate level process analysis and optimization.
- Ability to plan and conduct requirements gathering workshops.
- Ability to prepare test cases for evaluation of completeness and fitness for use of developed solutions.
- Ability to produce clear written documentation of system functionality, test scripts, test results and training material.
- Skill in customer service and methods of professional interaction with a staff of disparate personalities and the ability to display a courteous and professional demeanour at all times.
- Skill in verbal and written communication, including presentation skills and experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience Required
- four (4) years product owner/analysis experience, which includes three (3) years of IT industry experience, preferably working as a liaison between the business community and an IT organization.
- An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or industry related experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.
