Job Description

Title: Lab Technician
Duration: 6- month contract
Location: Delaware, OH –Onsite Position
 
Duties:
  • Sets up and performs tests requested by product engineers.
  • Assist with assembly of prototype units
  • Organizes and maintains a safe, clean, productive lab space.
  • Performs product tear downs and technical analysis down to the PCB level.
  • Reports findings in an organized manner.
 
Skills:
  • Basic working knowledge in power/electrical engineering;AC and DC power <20kVA circuits, microprocessor and sensor interfacing, firmware interfacing, DC batteries, connectors/wire harnesses.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and identification of components.
  • Strong engineering troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and methodically.
  • Ability to operate in an electrical testing lab environment safely and successfully.
  • Very strong planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional global development teams.
 
Education
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 3-5 years test engineering experience with electrical-based products OR Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-3 years test engineering experience with electrical-based products.
