Job Description

Role: Maintenance Coordinator
Duration: 6+ months (Contract)
Location: REMOTE
 
Duties
  • Work in MS Project and Smart Sheets for the development and execution of Work Schedules by taking ready backlog and planned work from the Planning group and efficiently spreading them out within the working periods as well as over multiple year(s) over the assigned assets.
  • Manage a scheduling tool within SAP in support of Planning as necessary, or outside if applicable, to efficiently create, track, manage, and share schedules across the area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance with other corrective maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Schedule planned maintenance and ready backlog with Supervisors to be efficiently applied throughout the year.
  • Maintain and schedule staff trainings, PTO, off field activities, etc. To be effectively managed over a wide period.
  • Scheduler works closely with Site Managers, Regional Managers, and Planners.
  • Prepare yearly, quarterly, monthly, and weekly schedules and facilitate weekly scheduling meetings with Site Managers.
  • Receive and process daily schedule and late work report from previous day. Continue to track progress of schedule execution and assure all roll over work gets scheduled based of priority and age.
  • Primary scheduler of all work orders for both budgeted and unbudgeted work, whether Opex, Capex, or repair work for the assets assigned.
  • Interface with Regional staff and Planning to promote and facilitate effective use of SAP PM in EGPNA Maintenance Processes.
 
Skills:
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Detail orientated and able to learn new processes, systems and applications, learn new processes, systems, and applications.
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance and operations
  • Understanding of maintenance trades, common repairs, parts, and services.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve complex problems
  • Ability to work as part of a team and involve others in decisions when appropriate preferred
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills required & critical
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with MS Project, SAP, SAP Plant Maintenance system, Microsoft Sheets, and Visio strongly desired.
  • Knowledge and understanding of budgeting and plant operations within the renewable energy sector.
