Job Title: Oracle Cloud Database Administrator
Duration: 12+ Months contract

Skills
THE ORACLE DBA SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Knowledgeable in configuring and maintaining RMAN backups utilizing Database Cloud Service Console and EM/GRID Control
Skilled in cloning Databases using the Database Cloud Service Console
Ability to perform database restores and recovery utilizing Database Cloud Service Console and OCI CLI
Ability to perform database OS, Oracle GRID Home and database database upgrades utilizing Database Cloud Service Console and OCI CLI
Able to perform Table level recovery through dbaascli and Flashback
Proficient in supporting high availability RAC architecture
Skilled in Database Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting utilizing EM/GRID Control
Knowledgable in SQL rewrite and optimization utilizing EM/GRID Control
Proficient with troubleshooting and resolving performance issues on Exadata
Versed in performing Oracle Database-Microsoft Active Directory Integration
Skilled with SQL and PL/SQL code reviews
THE ORACLE DBA SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SOFT SKILLS:
Change management including maintenance of multiple development, test, QA, and production environments
Proficient in deploying approved changes to production
Versed in working with development project teams to design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements
Skilled in the development and implementation of Database security policies and procedures in line with applicable governance such as HIPAA and STIGs
Ability to work and coordinate with teams of diverse domain disciplines. (e.G. Finance, healthcare, security, network operations, system admins.)
Proficient in developing in-house custom installation and configuration guides
Experience Required
10 Years experience or more with Oracle RDBMS
10 years experience or more performing Backup and Recovery with RMAN
10 years experience or more with LINUX
10 years experience or more with partitioning
10 years experience or more or more with Data Lifecycle Management
5 years experience or more installing, configuring and maintaining EM/GRID Control
5 Years experience or more utilizing EM/GRID Control to troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize SQL
5 years experience or more with Oracle Exadata
5 years experience or more managing databases in Oracle Cloud (OCI)
2 years experience or more with dbaascli
1 year experience or more implementing and maintaining CPU Auto Scaling
1 year experience or more with APEX, SQL Dialog, ADB, AI and DA in OCI
1 year experience or more with Oracle 23ai RDBMS
Education Required Miscellaneous/ Niche/ Other
Education Preferred High School Diploma
Additional Information
The Oracle Farm supports over 25 databases up to 45TB in size that are 24/7/365 therefore must be willing to provide support as needed after hours, on weekends and holidays. The position is a hybrid work environment, partly in the physical workplace, and partly remotely. The physical office location is Downtown Los Angeles, CA. A live scan is required for this position.
