PHY System Modelling Engineer
12 Months Contract
Flexible (onsite/hybrid/remote)
Top 3-5 Must Have Skills for this role:
- Firmware programming
- System modeling
- Post-Silicon skills
- C/SystemC/Matlab/Python programming
- DDR training algorithms
About the role:
Need an experienced PHY system modeling engineer who is hands-on with firmware development and post-silicon activities.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Candidate should ideally be able to develop a PHY architectural model in SystemC, but other languages are also acceptable.
- Strong PHY experience with SerDes/DDR background preferred.
- Require exceptional firmware skills with proven ability to implement and validate PHY calibration, adaptation, and training algorithms.
- Work involves good amount of scripting, data collection and analysis.
- Candidate should be able to run system simulations and correlate with silicon results.
- Strong coding skills in C, SystemC, Matlab, System Verilog and Python preferred.
- Familiarity with signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) would be beneficial.
- Essential to have strong debugging skills.
