Position: Project Manager (Order Management Analyst)
Location: Atlanta, GA 30328 (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Order Management Analyst will specifically manage Wireline Order Orientation orders to facilitate all fulfilment activities performed by local markets.
This work involves working in multiple systems including Neustar, AOMS, MINT, and OPTIX.
These customers (Telecommunication Wireline, Telecommunication Mobility, Telecommunication, Sprint, etc.) are a part of the 200+ Carrier customers that Cox serves nationally.
Carrier Projects span multiple states and require national project management disciplines (customer communications, project reprioritization, internal / customer negotiation, and portfolio / project risk management) for these multi-month(s) / year(s) projects supporting these customers.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior Carrier knowledge
Prior telecommunication industry experience
Schedule flexibility
5- years of relevant experience
Motivated self-starter
Highly organized
Ability to work in fast paced environment.
Analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficient in the following applications/systems:
MS Office Suite
OPTIX
Granite/Webbings
5+ years of experience required in related field.
Ability to meet tight deadlines with accuracy and promptness.
Proficient in the following applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, MS Teams, SharePoint)
Ability to align and collaborate strategically with cross functional teams.
Excellent interpersonal and proactive customer service skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required knowledge of Carrier project management process
Experience in the telecommunications industry
High Energy with the desire to learn and grow.
Strong Team Player mentality
Willingness to act and be accountable for results.
BS/ BA degree in related discipline (i.E., Business, etc.)
Must be flexible to work 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm EST M-F
 
MAJOR TASKS:
Manages multiple Carrier projects concurrently.
Manages Carrier Projects (Wireline) through multiple systems - into MINT/Neustar/ OPTIX / AOMS with all pertinent customer project information including pricing, project creation, project due date, customer location information...
Partners with peer Field PMs to solve project delays (serviceability, project prioritization, construction, etc.)
Proactive Customer Communications
Provides each customer with necessary status (at a Carrier level) of all of their projects, due dates, and current state of install.
Includes risk and notes from all field teams as needed.
Single point of contact for managing Customer Escalations / Clarifications (project changes / cancels / disputes) prior to bill.
Partners with National Account Mgrs. To address unique Carrier requests.
Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment to size and plan each Carrier project, including project reprioritizations –nationally.
Partners with CB Markets, and National Carrier customers in planning and defining multiple customer projects and project priorities, Carrier resource allocation and timing of deliverables.
Schedules customer due date within the required customer timeframes in the necessary systems.
Applies regulatory knowledge for all pre and post installation activities.
