Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Lead Project Support Specialist II to support our Wireless Implementation Team. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable invoicing, vendor accounts, project financials, and process improvement initiatives while ensuring accurate budget tracking and financial reporting across multiple projects and programs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting acumen, advanced Excel skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to manage vendor relationships while driving process improvements. This position requires an independent professional who can work with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and leadership teams.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Lead Project Support Specialist II to support our Wireless Implementation Team. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable invoicing, vendor accounts, project financials, and process improvement initiatives while ensuring accurate budget tracking and financial reporting across multiple projects and programs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting acumen, advanced Excel skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to manage vendor relationships while driving process improvements. This position requires an independent professional who can work with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices, change orders, and payment requests accurately within established timelines.
- Manage project financial codes, funding allocations, and project setup activities within systems such as Oracle, Sitetracker, and Magnit.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, funding utilization, and financial reporting to ensure compliance and budget adherence.
- Create and manage work orders, purchase orders, and supplier engagements.
- Review, track, and maintain supplier contractual agreements and associated documentation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal business partners.
- Generate reports related to project milestones, billing deliverables, budget status, and financial performance.
- Analyze project and financial data to identify trends, risks, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and maintain process documentation.
- Communicate process updates and procedural changes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support onboarding and training of new suppliers and service providers.
- Monitor project completion dates and ensure timely financial closeout activities.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex operational and financial issues.
- Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Project Management, Telecommunications, or a related field;or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Coordination, Project Management Support, Business Operations, Process Improvement, or Telecommunications.
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, formulas, pivot tables, and spreadsheet management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with Oracle, Magnit, Salesforce, Sitetracker, or similar project management and financial systems.
- Telecommunications or wireless industry experience.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and supplier onboarding.
- Knowledge of purchase orders, work orders, change orders, and project financial controls.
- Experience supporting cross-functional project teams and stakeholders.
- Understanding of wireless carrier operations and infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies.
