Position: Quality Assurance Tester I
Location: Northampton, MA
Duration: 10+ Months Contract with good chances of extension
The schedule is 12 hour shifts 5: 45pm-6: 15am One is a night shift with those hours, The schedule is 2 days on, 2 days off, every other weekend work Fri-Sun. Next week are the opposite days.

Description:
- Prepare syrups and beverages according to mixing instructions and following guidance from product developers and scientists.
- Process incoming inventory of ingredients and supplies (e.G., receiving, logging, labeling, storing) to ensure that materials are traceable and properly stored.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation (e.G., cleaning/sanitizing, troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, calibrating, and repairing).
- Support pilot plant productions (prepare ingredients, bottles and labels, conducting analyses to ensure beverage is within specifications, cleaning/sanitizing).
- Maintain laboratory GMP’s, cleanliness, organization, and stocking of required supplies, maintaining clean and glassware and laboratory countertops.
- Record data from analyses, calibrations, maintenance, cleaning and experiments in a computer, logbook, or laboratory notebook.
- Identify, classify, maintain, and protect files, documentation, and sensitive information consistent with record handling and retention requirements.
- Clean/sanitize, change valves, seals, gaskets, and perform other general maintenance on figals and dispensing equipment for carbonated beverage production.
- Support stability studies: Product labeling, placement into required storage areas, and sample pulls.
