Regional Event Manager, West Coast
Oakland, CA –Remote

Qualifications
- Over 5 years experience in event management or alike (corporate events within large scale tech companies a bonus)
- Maintain a smooth transition of all go/event requests tickets while West Coast Regional Event Manager is on leave, inclusive of but not limited to
- Event Calendaring
- Assigning subtasks to cross-functional partners (AV, IT, Trust & Safety, Workplace, etc) as needed to ensure smooth execution
- Providing adequate “day-of”support for Oakland and San Francisco offices when needed
- Collaborating with our AV, Centers of Excellence (CoE), IT, Trust & Safety, and Workplace Experience Team to foster a cohesive global event program
Amount of work:
- Minimum of 10 tickets submitted per week. Ticket submissions vary;some weeks are busier than others. Busy weeks can see a spike in submissions to over 20.
Skills
- Strong collaborator with partner organizations, adaptable to leading or contributing to projects as needed to accomplish goals.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change;ability to think quickly and pivot directions as needed.
- Confidence in communicating with senior leadership and team leads.
- Familiar with G-Suite and Slack (foundational knowledge of key formulas and integrations)
- Experience working with communication and web design (IE: presentations, signage, event brochures, email, etc) within Canva, Adobe, or other similar platforms.
- Project Management experience –prioritizing events, timely response, and tracking (within JIRA, Asana, Planned or alike).
- Strong customer service experience.
