Administrative Scheduling Assistant
Duration: Through 09/01/2026, with potential for extension based on performance and team needs.
Location: Saginaw, MI 48602
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (In-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday;remote Wednesday and Friday)

Position Overview:
The Scheduler I will be responsible for the coordination and execution of daily scheduling activities and resource planning for a designated business unit. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely, efficient work assignment and communication between field operations and supporting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement daily work plans for the assigned business unit.
- Organize and dispatch work assignments to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct planning and scheduling meetings.
- Monitor workflow and make real-time adjustments using various systems and tools.
- Create and submit service orders, requests, and scheduling modifications as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, field operations, and support groups to ensure alignment and resolve scheduling issues.
- Support emergent and urgent work requests according to business unit procedures, including escalation and volume management.
- Analyze data trends to optimize scheduling efficiency and resource allocation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 1+ year of scheduling or planning experience (utility or production scheduling preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
