Job Description


Position: Sr Software Developer

Location: (100% Remote)

Duration: 3+ months Contract (High possibility converting to Perm)  

Job Summary:
  • The Drupal Developer/Administrator will be responsible for full stack activities developing and administrating the core Drupal and Acquia based platforms that power Client sites.
  • Will develop reusable components, address UI/UX and Accessibility standards, assist in Drupal migrations and collaborate with project managers, developers and third parties.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Recommendation and analysis of new methodologies, standards and technologies, alternative design approach.
  • Advanced analysis, design, development work on using PHP and Drupal based technologies, JavaScript, and mobile solutions. Assuring business needs are met with organization guidelines and policy in mind.
  • Advanced troubleshooting, implementation, support and expertise in a Drupal based platform.
  • This may include coordination and leading the rest of the team, 3rd parties, within and outside its department towards the same objective.
  • Ensures technical solutions leverage industry best practices and minimize the total cost of ownership.
  • Ensure applications are in compliance with security updates and resolving identified vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure applications are in compliance with accessibility policy and export controls.

Skill/Experience/Education:
  • Applicable professional certification with 7+ years of progressive experience providing solutions to complex program/system problems in a business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of web development tools and programming languages.
  • Drupal 8/9 Developer Certification.
  • 5+ years of experience with Drupal, current experience in Drupal 9x+ and PHP > 7.4 programming.
  • 5+ years of experience in front end frameworks, JavaScript, jQuery or equivalent.
  • Experience with MySQL design and development.
  • Acquia Site Studio/Cohesion and Theming experience is required.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience in CI/CD processes utilizing Azure DevOps Git repositories.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with and extending Drupal modules.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Knowledgeable and active in the Drupal community.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills combined with an understanding of business functions and related technology product and the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and accomplish goals.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting, multi-tasking and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to create original concepts/theories and translate functional requirements into technical terms to develop and assist with detailed technical design.
  • Highly motivated self-starter and team player.

Minimum Education:
  • Mandatory Bachelor’ s or Master’ s Degree in Computer Science or related areas.
