Software Development Engineer 2
Location: Sunnyvale CA 94086 (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract with the possibility of extension
Job Description:
Support the manufacturing line activities.
We are writing software using C++, Python, and C#, communicating to databases through web services.
We are writing desktop-based software to communicate with the hardware.
Python or C# is the first preference but can consider who has strong experience in C++. We are using C# and Python to write the code.
5-10 years of the experienced candidate will be ideal.
Must have Hardware control experience.
Medical device experience is not required.
Manufacturing automation experience is something that we are looking for. Ideal candidate would be from companies like - Tesla, Intel, Infinera (in bay area), or other product plus manufacturing-based companies.
MATLAB is not must have – just be able to read the code, this person will not be writing the code using MATLAB.
Interviews – Panel interview onsite/video is fine (There will be a coding task at the time of the interview, we will ask to do some modifications in the existing code)
Not looking for someone who has developed Mechanical software.
Top 5 technical skills: Python/C#, manufacturing automation, writing controls for electrotechnical machines/hardware, etc.
Can consider non-locals who are willing to relocate at their own expense.
