Position: Software Engineering Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA 30354 (Hybrid Role)
Duration: Fulltime Employment
We are looking for an experienced individual who will lead UX initiatives across multiple platforms and customer facing applications. You will build and run a cross-functional UX team and define the UX Design and Research strategy in cooperation with our local and global stakeholders. You and your team will work on complex problems and propose clean, efficient, appealing and state of the art solutions for our customers and prospects. You' re meticulous and excited about beautiful design, and you have an unwavering desire to provide the best experiences for our customers. As a UX leader you share findings with your team and the overall product organization. You are hungry for new ways of doing things, you know the latest trends, download the newest apps, experiment with the latest devices and wearables.
You are a tireless advocate for the end user with a deep empathy for their everyday struggles and challenges. You always put their needs first, and you' re unwavering in your desire to provide the best experiences for customers.

What you will do
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Lead our Atlanta UX team and act as mentor for junior UX designers on the team.
- Coordinate and lead the UX design activities across projects and initiatives.
- Translate business goals of projects into meaningful UX visions, concepts, and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with product owners/managers (POs & PMs) to find opportunities for new products/features and validate hypotheses through user testing and research.
- Plan, oversee and lead customer research studies as base of your design decisions.
- Guide UX researchers in your team to do efficient and meaningful customer research.
- Guide shaping the end-to-end customer journey and iterative improvement of the experiences across the journey.
- Reinforce a design-thinking culture that leverages the best product, technology, and innovative talent.
- Drive the continuous process of making/keeping the products truly customer centric.
- Promote new, modern design standards and patterns.
Who you are
- UX Designer with 10+ years of experience in designing and delivering state of the art digital products in cross-functional teams from start to finish.
- 4+ years of experience using analytics, user research, and other approaches to help make decisions and iterate on the products.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Team player who can work well in a matrix organization.
- Advocate of UX as a holistic discipline with a high impact on the overall success of products and companies.
- Expert in responsive digital design, layouts, and grid systems, visual hierarchy, typography, etc.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices - always looking for improvements.
- Strong communicator and collaborator, convincing people with strong arguments.
- Power to influence others and build consensus, while dealing with ambiguity.
- Ability to interact on all management levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated success under pressure while managing multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.
- Passionate about the Brand.
- Ability to deliver great experiences while working in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to learn from experiences, including successes, setbacks, and/or resistance.
- Self-motivated, outstanding communicator with ability to balance great design with meeting tight deadlines.
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail.
Education:
- Bachelor’ s degree in Design, Arts, Marketing, Anthropology, Psychology, or related field.
- Master’ s degree preferred.
