Job Title: Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Location: Remote –Candidates must work in CST or EST time zones
Role Overview
We are seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for a 6-month engagement to provide senior-level technical and strategic guidance for large-scale on prem to AWS cloud migration initiatives.
The ideal candidate will act as a staff-level technical authority, reviewing migration strategies, identifying risks, optimizing cost and reliability and translating complex technical findings into clear business recommendations for engineering leaders and executives.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, infrastructure, or cloud architecture roles
- Proven experience leading or assessing large-scale on prem to AWS migrations in enterprise environments
- Experience operating at Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior technical level
- Strong understanding of:
- Distributed systems and multi-tier application architectures
- On prem infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, virtualization)
- AWS services, architectures, and design tradeoffs at scale
- Strong ability to analyze application dependencies and failure domains
