Job Title: System Support Print Solutions Tech Assistant
Location: Jackson, MI 49201
Duration: 06+ months Contract (High Possibility to extend)
Job Description:
Specific duties including communicating with customers regarding their copy production needs, implementing appropriate quality control standards.
In this position you will also be responsible for the reproduction of multiple orders requiring the ability to multi-task between numerous productions and finishing orders in a timely manner.

Job Description:
Specific duties including communicating with customers regarding their copy production needs, implementing appropriate quality control standards.
In this position you will also be responsible for the reproduction of multiple orders requiring the ability to multi-task between numerous productions and finishing orders in a timely manner.
Duties:
- Understanding and operation of various machines and copy functions including; troubleshoot all equipment including clearing copier paper jams, changing ink cartridges and toner, and communicating technical issues to copier technical support.
- Additionally, knowledge of document formatting and graphic arts software.
- Handle/schedule all daily requests by answering phones, managing PO Box, etc. Respond to customer inquiries.
- Communicate with clients on copy services needs and provide options and deliver services as requested.
- Communicate with vendors on preventative maintenance and repairs of the various machines.
- Ensure sufficient inventory of supplies and materials.
- Maintain downtime logs, repair and handle copier and printer meter charges.
- Performs various Print Solutions services to include but not limited to; folding, cutting, bookbinding, padding, laminating, and printing wide format, color and black and white.
- Must understand, follow and adapt to process, think outside of the box, be a problem solver.
- Effectively prepare and troubleshoot various file formats and utilize various PC Software.
- Must be highly dependable and self-directed.
- Always search for a more efficient way to eliminate waste in our process.
- Must work independently, determine work priorities and follow through on tasks.
- Employee must be self-directed and must be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
- Highly organized/prioritize work load.
Skills
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Outlook, SharePoint
- This position requires excellent skills in communication with customers inside and outside Consumers Energy, including peers.
- This position requires superior customer management skills and communication skills to ensure excellent customer service.
- This position requires the understanding and operation of various machines and copy functions including; troubleshoot all equipment including clearing copier paper jams, changing ink cartridges and toner, and communicating technical issues to copier technical support
- Knowledge of document formatting and graphic arts software including Adobe professional, Smart Stream and Fiery.
Education
- Associates degree or equivalent experience is preferred
