About Research work:
  • Our team is researching and developing the advanced science and technology in beverage industry to help drive business related innovation and growth. We continuously leverage the external technological development into our research program.
Job Description Summary:
  • This is a contractor position.
  • You will support our senior research scientists on the study design, execution, and data analysis.
  • Your work includes but not limit to literature review, study protocol design and drafting, study execution, data analysis and report, database management.
  • You will also work closely with internal cross functional teams and external partners in research which will provide the working experience for product development, ingredient analytical, consumer understanding to ensure the project completed smoothly and successfully.
  • Conduct ingredient landscape to identify emerging ingredient solutions & technologies, and their potential business applications.
  • Assist research scientists in design & execute studies for the validation of ingredient candidates, such as technical feasibility assessment, stability & efficacy studies.
  • Interpret data from routine and non-routine analyses.
  • Prepare research reports and presentations.
  • Assist data scientist to build and maintain a robust library of ingredient solutions.
  • Assist product developers to produce prototypes for the validations.
Minimal Requirements:
  • Ph.D degree in Nutrition, Food science, Biological Psychology, Kinesiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or other life or chemistry science related research areas with 0 + year of industrial experience.
  • Strong learning attitude and capability to be able to work under senior scientists’ guidance to understand the research basic knowledge, terminology, and strategy to translate the research need into ingredient application solutions.
Preferred experience:
  • Experience on human studies of food/beverage, dietary supplement is preferred.
  • Knowledge and application of Good Laboratory/Clinical Practices is preferred.
  • Knowledge and application of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis is a plus. This includes preparation, separation, detection, and other techniques applying concepts of precision and accuracy for compound analysis to meet the research need.
